The Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Feb 12, 2012. We will be electing new Vestry members and need to start looking for candidates now.
Eligibility to server: Officially the Canons say (paraphrased):
1. The person must be a member of St. Luke's Parish and a member of the Episcopal church
2. Must take communion at least 3 times a year
3. Must be known to the treasure to support St. Luke's financially (i.e. pledges, gifts, or other financial contributions)
Eligibility to vote: We work on the honors system:
1. All persons who are 16 years of age or older
2. Who have received communion three times in the past year at the church
3. Who are on our mailing list
This is what was used last year. More information on the number of open positions are term lengths will follow. The new Vestry members will be sworn in and begin their terms at the Vestry meeting on Feb 20, 2012.
